Annapolis Boxing

Annapolis Boxing is an Olympic-style amateur boxing club located at 111 Chinquapin Round Rd, Suite 114 in Annapolis, Maryland. Founded in 2023 and registered with USA Boxing, the academy is headed by Founder and Head Coach Edson Rocha, a Brazilian Army veteran and USA Boxing Gold-Level Coach. He is joined on the coaching staff by USA Boxing Bronze-Level Coach Andrew Ramos, certified USA Boxing coach Vincent Cheng, and open-class amateur competitor Liam Haley. Instruction follows a structured curriculum divided into the School of Boxing, which focuses on stance, footwork, punch mechanics, and defense, and the School of Combat for advanced partner drills and sparring. Offerings include an 80-hour Beginner Boxing Program, an Intermediate Boxing Program of at least 150 hours, a USA Boxing Masters Program for adults age 35 and older, and a Monday 7:00 pm Free Intro Class for ages 12 and up, with classes running Monday through Saturday.
