Jungle Gym Boxing Academy

Jungle Gym Boxing Academy is a 24-hour boxing and conditioning facility located at 117 W 1st Street in Duluth, Minnesota. Head Coach Zach Walters, a former professional boxer known in the ring as Jungle Boy, retired in 2009 after 14 years of competing and took over the gym in March 2011 after coaching amateurs at Chuck Horton's Gym in 2010. U.S. Air Force veteran Adam Lynn also leads a Friday evening mixed martial arts class. Weekly programming includes Rise and Fight Morning Boxing on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 6:30 am, Junior Competition for ages 8 to 17 on Mondays through Thursdays at 4:00 pm, and Senior Competition for ages 18 and older at 5:00 pm. Additional sessions cover the Monday through Thursday 6:00 pm Boxing Academy class, Tuesday and Thursday 7:00 pm Cardio Boxing, daytime Quick Smash sprint-style boxing workouts, and a dedicated Parkinson's Boxing Class.
