Straightright Boxing & Fitness

Located at 2100 Turner St. in Springdale, Arkansas, Straightright Boxing & Fitness offers group boxing conditioning and one-on-one instruction in NW Arkansas. The gym was established by founder and Head Coach Kevin "Lights Out" Lightburn, an Iowa State and two-time Kansas City Golden Gloves winner, National Golden Gloves and National P.A.L. silver medalist, and certified USA Boxing Association and AIBA coach with more than 35 years of experience. Training at the Springdale gym is headed by Head Trainer Kalvin Henderson, a Fort Worth native and 2012 University of Arkansas Music Education graduate who began boxing at age 15. Henderson captured amateur titles including the 2010 Texas Games Championships, 2011 Fort Worth Regional Golden Gloves, 2012 Arkansas state championship, and 2013 Missouri Black Expo Championship before compiling a 19-2-1 professional record with 13 knockouts, a Bennie Brisco Fight of the Year award, and a WBA top-10 world ranking. Programs include energetic group fitness classes, individual training, Parkinson's classes, a free trial workout, and a donation link to the Arkansas Boxing Foundation 501(c)3, a nonprofit that funds young Arkansas boxers to compete.
