United Boxing Club

Established in 2019 in Canton, Ohio, United Boxing Club, Inc. is a family-operated 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that combines boxing instruction, fitness conditioning, mentorship, and community outreach. The club was founded by Executive Director and Chairman Markees Watkins, a licensed amateur and professional boxing coach, trainer, referee, and judge, who operates the facility alongside his wife, President Tahlia Watkins, and their children. Training welcomes youth, adults, women, beginners, fitness enthusiasts, and competitive athletes alike. Some members compete, while others participate solely for physical conditioning and skill development without ever sparring or entering the ring. Through its nonprofit structure and community partnerships, the Watkins family works to keep training and mentorship accessible to individuals and families across Canton regardless of financial circumstances.
